Costa del Sol is also known as Costa del Golf. There are more than 50 golf courses within a short range of the apartment, among these is the famous Valderrama course. By far the most courses are of a very high quality
Golf Torrequebrada
Only 400 metres from the apartment is Golf Torrequebrada which is a course of a very high standard. The course was built in 1976 and designed by Pepe Gancedo. From all 18 holes, which are in hilly terrain, is a view of the Mediterranean and of the mountains. The course several times hosted the Spanish championship. The course is a par 72 of 5,763 metres from yellow tee with a slope of 133. There is limited handicap of 27 for gentlemen and 35 for ladies.
In the clubhouse is a good restaurant with an excellent view of the golf course with the Mediterranean in the background.
